Due to the convenience of online shopping,
members of the general public often sell and advertise environmental agents online.
Be careful though – you may be breaking the law.
The Taoyuan City Department of Education has so far received seven reports of environmental agents being illegally offered for sale online.
If the advertiser is determined to not possess an environmental agent permit,
or a license for the sale of environmental agents or pest control,
they may be liable for a fine of between NT$60,000 ~ NT$300,000 for violation of the
“Environmental Agents Control Act.”
The general public should take care to not violate the regulations of the Environmental
Agents Control Act as the fine may far exceed their gains.
