Occupational Safety and Health Act (previously Labor Safety and Health Act) was implemented on July 3, 2014 and is applied to all walks of life, including educational institutions.

職業安全衛生法（原勞工安全衛生法）已於103年7月3日正式施行，適用範圍擴大到所有行業，學校亦被納入規範當中。
The Taoyuan City Department of Environmental Protection (TYDEP) hosted the “Protect the River and the Sea Together” Nankan River clean-up event at Zhongzheng Park in Guishan District on the 15th. More than 600 people took part in launching a clean-up drive along the Nankan River to restore the beauty of the river banks and prevent trash from being washed into the sea.
